What is wrong with you? This is supposed to be a Korea blog. Where am I supposed to get information about Korea? I for one am never going to read this blog again. I want you to write more about Korea. You should rename this blog drunken stream of conscious in South-East Korea.

Anon, thanks for the comment. You are right this blog is not great, and I don't think that anybody cares about my musings. I just occasionally want the average passerby to say out loud, "Hey that is rather novel. Not interesting. Not funny. Not enraging, just somewhat novel." or "Well if I'm ever in Geumsan myeon I know where to eat."

I guess blogging is just a way to make people feel important. If somebody comes to a blog and insults the blogger, that makes the blogger feel important one way, just like the if somebody adds a charming little quip to your blog that makes you feel important another way.

Let's face it, technology has made people more isolated from each other, and many of us have boring jobs, humiliating jobs, or just jobs that don't give us the satisfaction of feeling as if you had done a good job or actually helped somebody. So at the end of the day it feels great when somebody takes the time to at least notice you. So thank you anon.

The old TV mini series? The store? Those thingies attached to plants?

Roots are all of those things, and a somewhat underground hip hop band. Well they aren't really at all underground since in 1998-99 they won a Grammy for their song "You Got Me," with Erykah Badu, and starting last year they became the house band for "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon."
